SHINGLE ROOF INSTALLATION PROCESS
Day 1 - Tear Off and Dry In
- In order to prevent your vehicles from being stuck in the garage or delaying our dumpster delivery, be sure to move your vehicles the night before. The dumpster typically goes in the driveway to allow for an efficient and thorough clean up.
- Roughly between 7:00am and 9:00am, your installation crew will arrive to the job site and begin prepping the work area by using our Catch All Landscape Protection System and using tarps over other precious items that may be affected by our work. Once your job site is properly prepped, they will begin to work immediately to start the tear off of your existing roof.
- Approximately between 7:00am and 10:00am, your dumpster will arrive to the job site, ready to be filled up with the discards of your old roof.
- If they are not on site already, expect the shingles to be delivered by our manufacturer later in the afternoon after the dry in process, tearing off your old roof and adding peel and stick underlayment to your wood decking, is complete.
- The tear off and dry in process is typically completed by the end of the day, varying according to the size of your roof. The installation crew strategically starts from the farthest position away from the trailer and works towards it, preventing any damage to newly installed materials and ensuring a smooth workflow.
- The peel and stick dry in material can last on your roof alone by itself and protect your home for up to six months, but we won't leave it on alone that long, just know that you will be protected once the underlayment has been installed even if we encounter weather issues during your installation.
Day 2 - Shingle Installation
- On the following day, your crew will arrive approximately the same time as before to begin installing the shingles. Depending on the size of your roof, we may have completed the entire installation in one day, leaving you to enjoy your new roof in less time.
- Depending on your local municipality, once the roof installation is about at 25% to 50% complete, an in progress inspection is typically done to confirm that your installation is being performed up to the strict Florida Building Code and Guidelines.
Day 3+ - Installation Completion
- Upon completion, a final inspection will be performed to ensure your roof replacement meets our rigorous standards. After final payment is made, you will receive your roof close out documents: final payment receipt and roof warranty certificate. Lastly, we kindly request a photo/video review as well as a 5-star online review for our services.
METAL ROOF INSTALLATION PROCESS
Day 1 - Tear Off and Dry In

They follow a practice of never tearing off more than they can dry-in in a day. For roofs being upgraded from shingles to metal, the process is usually completed in just one day.
Day 2 - Metal Roof Installation
- After finishing the dry-in process for the entire roof, your installation crew will install the metal, one section at a time, moving in the same direction to safeguard both the metal specific peel and stick underlayment dry in and the metal materials.
- The installation timeline for metal roofs can range from as little as 3 days to a few weeks, contingent on factors like roof size, pitch, and other complexities regarding your roof. Before the installation, your Roofing & Solar Consultant will collaborate closely with the crew to provide you with a detailed understanding and expectation of the expected duration for your roof completion.
- The timing and requirement of an in-progress inspection varies based on your local municipality, but it usually takes place when the roof installation reaches approximately 25% to 50% completion.
- If required, after the inspection has been completed, your installation crew will continue the work until the roof is complete.
Day 3+ - Installation Completion
- Once the roof replacement is finished, a thorough final inspection will be conducted to ensure that it meets our high standards. After final payment is accepted, you will receive your roof closeout documents, consisting of your final payment receipt, and roof warranty certificate. Finally, we will kindly request your photo/video feedback as well as your online feedback in the form of a 5-star online review for our services.
TILE ROOF INSTALLATION PROCESS

- The tile specific peel and stick dry in material is designed to provide protection to your home for up to six months by itself if necessary, but we won't leave it on for that extended period. Rest assured, your home will be safeguarded once the underlayment is installed, even if we encounter any weather-related challenges during the installation process.
Day 2 - Tile Roof Installation
- Upon completing the dry in process for the entire roof, your installation crew will proceed to install the tile, working on one section at a time and moving in the same direction. This approach ensures the protection of both the tile specific peel and stick underlayment dry in and the tile materials throughout the installation process.
- The time required to install tile roofs can vary from 3 days to a few weeks, depending on factors such as roof size, pitch, and other complexities specific to your roof. Prior to the installation, your Roofing & Solar Consultant will work closely with the crew to offer you a comprehensive understanding of the expected timeline for your roof completion.
- The timing and necessity of an in-progress inspection depend on your local municipality, typically occurring when the roof installation reaches around 25% to 50% completion. If mandated, your installation crew will carry on with the work once the inspection is finished until the roof is fully completed
Day 3+ - Installation Completion
